Of course, if she is distracted by the fighting and adrenaline of a fight, it might take her awhile to notice until you collapse or the fight is over. I imagine pre-shimmer Jinx would be more attentive and notices if you are hurt even a bit.

🚀 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🦈 But basically, she drops everything and would rush to your side nonetheless. She will kneel by your side, assessing your injuries. Oh god, that is a lot of blood. Since when did you have so many wounds?

🚀 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🦈 Thousands of thoughts swarm around her head. She is so scared of losing you, she can't lose another person she loves. She just can't. Voices of her adoptive brother's voice ring through her head and even Silco's. Saying things like how she just hurts everyone around her, this was bound to happen eventually. No wonder Vi didn't want her to come on the mission. She's a jinx.

Instead they were a magenta color, something unnatural and not you. It almost reminds you of— "Now we match!" Jinx exclaims excitedly, as if you'd be happy.

🚀 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🦈 "What did you do to me, Jinx?" You focus your gaze back onto her, feeling anger rising in your bones.

🚀 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🦈 Jinx scrunches her face, "What did I do? I saved you!" she says, practically snarling at your accusatory tone. She stands, throwing the makeup compact harshly at you.

🚀 ୧ ‧₊˚ 🦈 "You were going to bleed out in my arms so quit looking me like I'm some.. some monster!" Her voice breaks on the last note, showing her insecurity. You knew all about Jinx's past, about Vi.. Vander. You promised to never do the same thing to her.

Like he finally retires, spends a month or two just resting because he thinks he now has the time to rest before figuring out what he wants to do with himself now

But as those two months go by, he can feel himself getting weaker and weaker until he cannot deny what is happening.

Maybe one day he tries to get up but can't, maybe ravio hears a thud and has to go pick him back up and put him back to bed. Maybe legend slowly gets bedridden and weaker by the day.

Or maybe he knows about it in lu, and has been hiding it. Sure there is fighting but recently on their adventure its been really relaxed. He can feel himself weakening but then it starts to become more obvious. Then when he becomes too weak to move much, and they understand what is happening, they do their best to make him as comfortable as he can be, and do the best they can even if he is sleeping on the forest floor in the cold, they all give him their bedrolls and blankets and make sure he gets everything he needs. (Its a situation where they can't do anything, not even give him somewhere comfortable to stay. They are completely helpless)

Time wonders why it must end like this, why legend must go so young, how he didn't deserved this fate after all he has done

I would really want to see a bonding moment between legend and time, between warriors and especially between ravio, and i would want to see how legend himself is thinking, what is going on in his mind, what exactly the pain he is in feels like, if he is okay with this or not or something in between. (I honestly dont think he would be blaming any godesses either. If he does blame something, i think he is wize enough to know that it is the evil in the world's fault)

Eventually a portal appears and takes them to legend and ravio's doorstep. At this point maybe legend is a lot weaker perhaps already bedridden at this point, but he still has quite a bit of time, enough time for ravio to learn what is going on and (barely) come to terms with it. Long enough for the two to spend some time with each other. And like the one i wrote above, both ravio and the chain are forced to watch as their brother suffers until his end. In the end, Ravio is at his side, holding his hand.

I hate myself for thinking and am gonna cry. I am sad now

My experiences with animal sciences and how practices within them signal issues with women's health. Another long one, sorry ya'll

So someone reblogged my post about the OBGYN field saying that animals in America are treated better than women. What a coincidence that I ran into this issue today! So I was in veterinary science for four years in high school. I had a vet assistant certification and was in the FFA (Future Farmers of America). And when I tell you this inference is not too far off, I mean it. I wouldn't say they're treated better, but the general attitude towards the female body is very much more visible, they dont try to hide it with animals. You can also see connections in many practices. When I got into it, there was also a slight uncomfortable tinge when our class came to reproduction and reproductive techniques that always targeted the female body. Well, first when we looked at endocrine systems, the male was always described as existing for himself. Testosterone was for muscles and strength. But with female, her endocrine was always surrounded with sex and offspring. Estrogen was for going into heat and "being impregnated". Progesterone was to "support a fetus" not help her survive a pregnancy. This really does connect back to the female body being seen as the reproductive tool of the male body. The sole focus in fertility. We still don't even know much about the female endocrine seperate from the focus on offspring. And that goes onto practices. Vaginal speculums, inducing estrus, artificial "insemination", much more. I dont wanna say too much, but my school bred animals. Once they talked about how they induced one of the animals into an estrus by implanting a hormonal device in the cervix. Something about it rubbed me the wrong way, because they never do that to male bodies to increase sperm quality. At most they collected sperm from a male animal, but usually willingly.

So what happened today? I shop on chewy for my pets, and I saw estradiol for animals. I was confused at first and wondered why someone would need that, but I remembered how animals are induced. So I clicked hoping it wasn't the case. Nope that's the case. However when you read further you see there's actually some benefits to estradiol for some individuals. So let's analyze this.

The first thing you see in description is: "Estradiol is used to induce estrus, a state of sexual receptivity during which the female will accept the male and is capable of conceiving."

So let's address how using estrogen for this purpose is just really weird. Excess estrogen can cause a lot of health issues, most notably (to me at least) CANCER. Animals go into estrus on their own. Also let's talk about "will accept the male". So sexual selection doesn't exist anymore? That's the thing with this crowd. They see female hormones as something robotic. They think estrus makes females bend over to any male they find. And again, why is there almost never something for males to decrease chances of sperm deformity?

Ok let's go down to uses: "Estradiol can be used to enhance estrus behavior and receptivity in ovariectomized mares and aid mares with estrogen-responsive urinary incontinence."

So they're saying you use this product to increase estrus symptoms in mares who have had their ovaries removed. Why? Fuck if I know. Could be behavioral, I doubt surrogacy due to a lack of ovaries (most responsible for hormone synthesis). So Imma go to the next part. When you get to the bottom you see that it helps urinary issues. So now we are FINALLY at the part where it actually benefits a female body and not just making a female into a breeding machine. So it does have a benefit, it can help female animals with incontinence! It's just that they are valued as production rather than a living being

Finally we get to precautions: "Estradiol is contraindicated during pregnancy as it can cause fetal malformations of the genitourinary system and induce bone marrow depression in the fetus. Estradiol cypionate should not be used to treat estrogen-responsive incontinence in small animals."

So I was actually kinda surprised they explained why (AND TESTED) why a hormone/medication shouldn't be used during pregnancy! Usually, with animals, they actually admit they never tested it with pregnant animals, of which I suspect to be the same with humans. They'd rather just say "yeah uh don't take it" instead of actually paying attention to female bodies, because again you are just a vessel. Also the fact that they never test how medications effect male reproduction, thats something that carries onto humans aswell. They would never limit a man even if he causes issues to another human. Anyways, my reasoning as to why they actually knew this time comes down to them paying close attention to female hormones... but only when it comes into play with a fetus. Trust, they know ALLLLLLL about the female body- WHEN ITS ABOUT A FETUS THOUGH! And again we see the death and malformation of a fetus as a negative for the fetus and not the female. They don't mention how this situation could ALSO effect the female animal. I would assume natural abortion would take place, which is dangerous. The thing is they'll study the effects on a fetus not a living breathing female. And throughout my experience with animals, I've learned that a reproductive adult will always be more valued by nature than a fetus. The health of your parent animal dictates success the most. However you always hear about how to stay pregnant or support fetal growth, the best thing to focus on is FEMALE HEALTH. We aren't vessels. However humans seem to have that twisted. I'll get into that on another post with prenatal vitamins.

So take what you want from this and run, if you've even gotten this far. I know it was long. Im still in science, just non-mammalian. I am by no means a professional but I feel the need to put my feelings out there. To all the feminists in medical or any other biological sciences, I wish you luck. Shit is so tiring.

Dont get me wrong, I think they’re right that he's DEEPLY insecure, and that's why he was easy to manipulate. He needed someone to affirm that he is greater than he believes, I just think he is *both* deeply insecure and also arrogant

He's said to believe he's "one of the special people of the world," something Alex said that I do believe is seen in the text. I'm one of the people who agree he has NPD, but its important to emphasize NPD is *built* on overwhelming amounts of insecurity. It's a fluctuating mix of greatened self-importance and extreme worthlessness.

And it would make total sense if he had narcissism, considering his childhood. He was definitely emotionally neglected, the only times he was probably recognized is when he had trophies or the best grades to show for it. He, no doubt by his trophy collection, got praised a lot by administration, and he probably thought he was smarter than the other kids... but his worth was only tied to that. He wasn't worth it just for being worth it. He *had* to succeed, otherwise he is nothing, and that is what makes him deeply insecure.

When Bill tells Ford "yes you deserved that A" it works for manipulation because Ford *does* believe he deserved it. He does believe he is entitled to the best grade and he knows better than the teacher, but he needs the validation because he could never know for sure if he was the only one thinking it. And he NEEDS to know because if he's not, and theres a chance hes not right, then in his mind, he wasn't enough, and there is nothing he could do to change it. And here comes in an OMNIPITANT GOD to tell him, "Yes, Ford, you were right. Let me sooth your insecurity by affirming your greater sense of self-importance. Of course, you're smarter than that teacher."

He *is* arrogant. Because he has to be. If he's not then he's worthless.

But there's also a sense of self-importance even when he is insecure. When he is hard on himself. When the apocalypse happens, he puts the weight of it all on his shoulders like he's the sole reason for it all. He believes full-heartedly thst he is the *cause* of the apocalypse. And, no, Ford. You're not responsible for everything and anything that happens, there is a demon in the sky. The guilt he feels for mistakes, like how he probably considers himself at fault for ruining Fiddlefords life even though Fiddleford is a grown man who made his own decisions, puts a lot of importance on himself even though it's clearly an insecurity of his. He's not feeling good about himself by putting this much weight on himself, but he *is* putting that much weight on himself, which is asserting a high level of self-importance.

So yes. I believe Ford is arrogant. No I don't think that makes him evil. But I do think he's arrogant

Howdy Eerna frequent reader, first time asker here.

I have weathered so many bad finales in my life and yet Arcane has me completely debauched. As a rule I dont comment on fandom things unless they bring me joy, but this season has me out here stopping myself from breaking into peoples posts with rants.

Most of my feelings have been better said already, however I haven't seen people talking about how the fights are actually ass in the last arc. Literally the shows bread and butter is soured by the lack of stakes.

The first arc had the Jinx/Sevika team up, the second at least the shock of Warwick's prison break in. The finale's battles are so lack luster i cant remember any of their beats. Well except for Jayce/Viktor photobombing the family reunion. I showed that to my partner without context and it only made me realize it isnt any better with it.

Things dont flow, they lack logical consistency. Cait get stabbed with Ambessa's lil fist knife and then does a whole fight fine. However that same knife I guess is infused with anti-Ambessa magic cause it kills her (I actually cannot remember if that's what happened, I was so bored and I refuse to check).

Even Ekkos last charge was interesting for a moment due to finally using the time powers but it didnt really feel like... anything. Like he gave Jayce mental time with Viktor but, like how would he know that was what would happen??? Jayce looked super duper out of it and if the mindmeld was the plan all along then why did our hammer man wait till the top of the tower and how Ekko even know that cause he was with Jinx and aajhhhh

I need to not think about this show any more help 😭

It is a different type of fights for sure, focused more on Big War rather than anything else... I liked them (except the Ambessa-Cait-Mel one, you're so right, what was that) but I can totally understand why someone wouldn't. I just really like final wars. But yeah the Ekko final blow didn't really make a lot of sense, I was just cheering because my boy was gonna be the hero (and then everyone ignored him WOW OK). I too prefer not to think about it. I will now proclaim this fic as canon to the main fic.

My own interpretation of how it went down it lowkey less interesting than @suffarustuffaru's anyways. Me when I cannaur NSFW for the life of me. But for context sake, my original interpretation was that Subaru was just half responsive and was completely chill with Otto doing his silly willy-nilly things. So like, yea, I absolutely did not think of anything in-depth so I am sweeping my interpretation under the rug and give @suffarustuffaru a thumbs up.

Since there is no plan on explaining what happened the next 2 days, I will now add more to it that Subaru is half lucid enough to remember some things just not everything. At least not clear memories at least. But he did consciously made some decisions (biting??? kissing?? cuddling???) which led to him having hahahahahaha very silly dreams in the main fic.

Does Otto know that Subaru remembers the last 2 days? The answer is no. Otto just thinks Subaru was so out of it due to how bad the heat was and doesn't remember a thing. But Subaru does remember Some things. There miiiiight be plan of it being mentioned eventually in the main fic where Subaru accidentally outs himself talking to Otto and Otto goes,"NO WAY YOU ACTUALLY REMEMBER SOME THINGS" and Subaru going,"WHAT?! NO! NO I DONT REMEMBER A THING SHUT UP SHUT UUUUPPPP" (I love them smh)

As for why Subaru just completely goes bed ridden after the heat; just imagine heat was keeping his adrenaline up the entire time and now that it's gone he is now half dead in bed. The main fic already explained parts of it but I might try to add more to it eventually just to cover anything that isn't already explained. There is still so much to cover in this fic LORD SAVE ME.

Ive grown up in a country, in fact a family so full of homophobia that in the halley's commet of an instance that a queer character shows up in a piece of media we are collectively watching- we will shut the TV down. AND I AM QUEER. I WANT TO SEE MY PEOPLE, I WANT TO SEE A POSSIBLE FUTURE FOR MYSELF THROUGH THESE PEOPLE.

And people genuinely think that ALL OF THE SE ACTORS/DIRECTORS/CREW are straight and using queer content for popularity. There are so many stats that will prove you wrong, but all you actually need is a set of good eyes. A lot, and im not saying this in a delusional "i wanna ship this pairing hehe" sort of way, but a lot of these people are evidently and even outrightly queer. Theyre doing this for their people- and we appreciate it.

even if you take the most cynical approach possible (i.e. this is a purely monetary decision), the fact that there is basically only one cishet series this year (one with nanon no less, an actor of such talent and popularity anyone would easily make an exception for him) is a huge win. when i was talking about wanting that for gmmtv just a few months ago, it sounded like a silly little idea that's not at all possible in the real world. an entire mainstream media company? producing almost exclusively queer content? as if! and yet. here we are. that's exactly what's happening.

“requiem for methuselah” crazy ass episode for many reasons. Kirk is being fully insane, like I don’t actually think, even controlling for how quickly and easily and readily he seems to fall in love with anybody at the slightest encouragement, that he’d go that bonkers for that android woman he just met while everyone on the ship was this close to dying, but that’s neither here nor there, because in the background you’ve got an equally but much more subtly insane episode for Spock, who extremely uncharacteristically admits to experiencing an emotion (or nearly experiencing, whatever) and that emotion is ENVY of all things. And then spends the rest of the episode warning Kirk away from this new love interest (something that doesn’t usually happen, even when Kirk has very inadvisable love interests) and is, in the end, the person who accurately identifies that Rayna’s competing love for Kirk and Flint is ultimately what overwhelms and destroys her with the most killer line in maybe history???

And then to wrap it up we get an equally uncharacteristic sort of denouement scene (TOS loooves to cut an episode off right after the actual climax, leaving little time for falling action or character reflection, or to stick a sitcom-y button on the end where the gang all smiles and laughs at their misadventures and everything resets to zero, which is not a criticism, it’s just the style of that era of tv, honestly) where Kirk is literally miserable over Rayna’s death (again, kind of unusual for a lot of his love interests, he tends to be able to move on pretty quickly) and Spock goes to see him and he falls asleep right in front of Spock (also odd) and then when Bones comes in to give the final word on Flint, Spock waves him off from waking the Captain (tender) and Bones gives him that awful speech about how it’s sadder that Spock can’t even imagine the love Kirk felt for this random android woman than it is that Kirk lost her in the first place (debatable but also rude) and how his great tragedy is that he can’t love at all like they can and how all he wishes is that Kirk could forget about all of this and move on. AND THEN, to have Bones leave and Spock go over to Kirk and very gently, tenderly, reluctantly touch him and put his hand to his forehead and tell him to forget and HAVE THAT BE THE END OF THE EPISODE??? What am I supposed to do with that??

as much as i would love to give like. a comprehensive response i genuinely dont think i can get my words together just yet without it being a constant unintelligble stream of 'AND ANOTHER THING-' and bc it's become quite torn in the fandom on if the chapter was good or bad i want like. an actual coherent response here. so i will reblog this if/when i can word it but know IM NOT FUCKING HAPPY

Genuinely so curious who Mike thinks is gonna be buying The Cage or the new DCTL GN bc with the way he tweets as far as he's concerned, it's not gonna be:

The queer people he has actively admitted he will never show any representation of in the games.

2. The POC he has actively fought against representing in his franchise. [Who he also mocked for thinking they would be represented in his franchise]

3. The Bendy fandom which has always been concerned with topics of diversity esp in the sense of queer people since its creation. Who he has responded to really poorly esp in regards to the GN.

4. The fans who critique him. [He blocked me for doing so lol]

5. His fans in general who he tweets about like this currently. [He's being vague about why people were mad at him or sent him 'nasty messages' because if you actually looked into why you'd see he was in the wrong. Either way, a very hateful way to speak abt ur own fanbase.]

Reminder while Mike is trash talking his fans he has always treated them rather poorly. The fans who won the fanart contest for Chapter 5 never got their posters actually in game due to it being rushed. Not only was chapter 5 a big slap to the face story wise, but it was literally so rushed he couldn't be bothered to add in the art his fans gave him for his game FOR FREE. [Meatly blames this on a crazy timeline, reminder him and Mike are the literal ceos of this company. The proposal of future updates here is also pretty cruel considering Mike nowadays happily admits he corrupted Chapter 5's source code and therefore literally can't update it At All currently. Because he is a moron]

At least they got to be in Boris and the dark survival, and by that I mean that was the Only game they got to be in so far, isn't that just treating your fans like you love them? Shoving their hard work into a spin off game almost nobody has played or addresses much. [Hell, who knows if with the Lone Wolf rebrand they'll even stay there. In which case they'll be in None of the games, only in the credits of BATIM]

6. The Bendy fans who just generally disagree with him on stuff. Like the new ink demon design where there is literally a public poll showing people generally prefer the old one.

7. The Bendy fans who can see he is actively lying to them. To their fucking faces.

He says this has always been the case, but screenshots and links to tweets regarding the books being canon prove it was not. Does he really think bendy fans are stupid or something? [Unless he's admitting here he lied to Kress when he told her the books were canon which sounds worse!]

8. Anyone who doesn't like the idea of giving money to a guy who laid off tons of employees then afterwards thought it was a great idea to express his anti-union views! Also brag about how good of an employer he was, according to his employees, he was not!

So in summary; Mike is an awful person who has not learned anything from the awful things he did. I will not be purchasing The Cage because, combined with this and his absolute refusal to take any kind of critique or see any differing interpretation of his franchise, I have no reason to think my problems with the franchise will ever be addressed or fixed. I probably will pirate The Cage along with any future Bendy Products [Including the movie] and will do my best to avoid giving it any kind of monetary support. Unless this changes any time soon, I can't see myself making anymore positive Bendy posts soon.

Mike has just managed to make it so hard to speak positively or optimistically of this franchise when he's so willing to broadcast how little he cares about it or its fans. I'm at the point where I refuse to pull any of my punches with my problems with it. What's the point of trying to play nice with my critique when either way the people creating it don't care?

So with this post, I want to invite anyone who feels similarly about the franchise to tell me, make a post or send an ask talking about how all of this makes you feel. It may not change how things are, but genuinely seeing other people share my feelings of anger makes me feel better. It feels nice to see when other people share our same concerns and worries. I'd also love to know if anyone else thinks they'll be avoiding purchasing Bendy products over this.

I'm not forcing anyone to participate in it nor trying to say anyone who doesn't supports mike but genuinely maybe if we can collectively decide to boycott things like the movie, graphic novel and The Cage... It might at least make the bendy devs acknowledge how much they have destroyed their own fandom's faith and trust in them.

The way Mike tweets about his actions like he had no control over why people were mad at him at least proves to me he takes NONE of it back nor regrets it. If you didn't know about his actions and only went off his tweets, you would be led to believe Mike has been needlessly picked apart by fans over things he couldn't control [or in his own words, had his words twisted and taken out of context]. That is not how you speak about your actions if you have actually learned better from them.

anyway, that has been my bendy dev callout post. This is an open invitation to anyone feeling similarly upset about the way the franchise is going to talk about it. It's genuinely nice to see how people feel about this and the more we talk about the more it's likely the bendy devs are forced to address our concerns. I don't think they will but hey, that's why I'm not gonna support them with my money anymore nor am I gonna be nice to them in any content I make critiquing Bendy. I mean I'm also basically making this post just in case anyone asks me Why I feel this way towards to bendy devs/as a way to respond to anyone who thinks I am too harsh in my critique in the future.

As always, it seems the best part of Bendy isn't actually anything about canon but about what the fan's are creating with the ideas Bendy failed to do anything interesting with.

Also the books, the books slap.
